TI have $60 tourneys at 11am and 6pm, rebuys for the first 4 levels. plus 5$ addon after lvl 4 for an extra 1000 chips.

Luxor is the same, but $35 buy in, with 24/7 $65 SNG's.

I liked the look of the MGM room, its massive, but didnt get a chance to play in there.

Don't play in the $60 tourney at the MGM which starts at 11 am, the structure is too fast, but the $125 that starts at 6 pm is good 3000 chips 30 min levels. I got back yesterday after 8 days of playing $2/$4 limit and drinking vanilla stolli & coke, I miss it already. Grin

VANILLA STOLLI IS THE S**T, most wetherspoons sell it but no-one knows what it is Smiley i used to have one after work when i worked at spoons.

I'll probably check out the $125 tourney, where else do you recommend?

I like the Venetian... superb room... weekday midday & 8pm tournies... $110 + $15 (I think... $125 anyway) for T1500 chips + $5 (dealers bonus) for T1000 chips + 1 x $50 re-buy for T1500 chips... so $180 total, T4000 chips and either 30 or 40 min clock (July seems so long ago now!!).

35 to 40 runners for the midday tourney when I was there... I believe  they get more for the evening one.

I managed to win at the $1/$2 NL games as well... and I don't consider myself much of a cash game player!

Back again in March 07... can't wait.  Grin

was there last week, this is the best cheap comp in Vegas.

The $125 in the MGM is a horrible structure and the 25 is the juice!

I agree

I was there at the beginning of the month and intended to play Tourneys and SnG's.
However the structures were terrible. The $60 dollar Sng's at the MGM were a lottery
and a tourney I played at Bally's was just as bad. I ended up playing $1/$2 at the MGM
which went really well in the end. I'm not normally a cash player but after a few losing sessions
I got the hang of it and doubled up on my last two.
