Hi, recently me and the wifey went to Temple Newsam:  http://www.leeds.gov.uk/templenewsam/

Its pretty famous for some Ghosts that prowl the house: http://www.mostparanormal.co.uk/html/temple_newsam_house_leeds.html

Well we went on a tour and even did the underground tunnels bit, which was fun.

I took one photo (below) where my wife swears its something strange on the  top right side of the pic, a ghost.

I personally don't think so but anyone else thinks it looks like "the blue lady?"

If you mean on the right side rather than her right side, it just looks like a reflection from the camera flash.

On her right side there is nothing there imo.

Looks like light coming through a door and also reflecting of a polished floor.

Certainly a weird one - I wouldnt of said a camera flash anyway, because of the size and where it is in the room.

I have cut the photo and blown it up - sad git! lol

The "blueish" shape appears to be in the middle of the room - which would put it INBETWEEN you and your wife. I have deduced this because if you look where the shape hits the floor, its in the middle of the room.

Ghost or not - certainly a wierd photo.

I am sure you could send it to someone (who deals in this sort of thing) If you do, let me know what they say

Aye I thought it was the light from the door, reflecting on floor. Hard to remember what was through in that room if it was a open door with sun coming through.

I worked for 15 years at a professional photographers and film processors and used to see a lot of "ghosts", although it's not taken on film I'll give it my best shot.
The majority of the area of the photo is evenly lit except for a very bright light source through the doorway which looks like it could be a glass or mirrorred display case or even a highly polished clock reflecting sunlight.
Your camera has set its exposure for the majority area of the room thus overexposing the bright light source making it even brighter, giving what is known as a "bleached out" effect.
If the blue streak is between subject and film (or sensor) it could be something as simple as a streak or smear on the lens or a blemish on the coating of the lens which when magnified makes it look like it does. Or maybe it is as a result of the brightness being too much for your cameras sensor and distorting the image.
