nope, no record company is going to sign a 32 yearold pop/punk guitarist. sadly the ship has sailed on my music career. I'll always play and there's a lot of good songs in me yet but as a proffessional signed musician I don't think it'll ever happen for me.

the dream will never die mate, it just becomes more unrealistic every day. when I said breaks my heart, I meant it. the band is getting together soon to record the whole set. for me it'll be so I can play it to the kids in years to come. for them it'll be incase they want to take on a new guitarist. The worst thing is that every song is between 70% and 100% my writing so I'll be playing songs that mean a lot to me for the last time with the band and it'll choke me up. When you've defined yourself in a certain way for so long, too alter that definition so profoundly is a major thing. I've always been a Guitarist who...plays poker, who is married, who does this job etc. in the future I'll be a poker player who plays guitar or a business man who plays guitar.

don't know if this make sence to anyone or not. jeez I'm bummed out about it

I wanted to be a professional snooker player for a long time, I didnt make it

Letting go was really hard, but not nearly as bad as the thought of letting go

For me it turned out to be quite a relief, nothing is as bad as you imagine it to be, remember one door closes.....

Shut it Jock .....  i spose you want a tattoo of that old scottish bird who won gold at the olympics in the "roll a stone and chase it with brooms down the ice" competition   Undecided

you should get a t-shirt from Adam with ... "I OVERPLAY AK" on the front .... and "BUT I WILL NEVER ADMIT IT" on the back Smiley
