we have never been led to beleive that 99.99999% of the acts that make it to the final 100 have walked in off the streets most have been trying to have a carear in the industry for a number of years

exactly the best are already going to have had some training.

Do you really think they audition all those people?

This is a tv series which is produced by Simon Cowell who has some bussiness deal with BMG/SONY who in turn will offer some £ 1 million worth of record deal (fully recoupable of course).

It is rather self evident that this programme, although based on public voting, is set to influence and manipulate the audience.
Genius money spinning idea.

Nothing more nothing else.

The way they choose songs/clothes for the contestants is not accidental and can be crucial in a voting numbers.

It is like saying that Big Brother or other reality shows do portray pple as close to reality as possible.

Media manipulation for public entertainment.

Do we really care if those guys were coached before or not?  Most of them don't have much talent anyway, they all look to me like karaoke pub singers, but mind you, most of the so called hits are sung by bland, lacking in personality and talent wierdos. ( am i getting old? hmm perhaps)

Leona is the only one now who has some potential as a singer, let's just hope that sony/bmg won't make her into some sing a long artist.

If she loses it will be better for her anyway, as then she can pick better deal for herself and be more in control of her destiny.

If she wins, she will have to slave away for at least a year and do as told, which considering what Cowel has done so far in the music industry this might screw her for a while.]

I thought there was a very interesting comment from Girls Aloud on Jonathan Ross's show on Friday when they said that Louis Walsh still earns money from them even though he has absolutely nothing to do with them any more.

Leona has quite clearly been the chosen one from the beginning which, personally, I have no problem with as she is far and away the most talented contestant in it. Cowell knows this and knows she should be a huge, long-term star, rather than a 'flash in the pan' act like Gareth Gates or a 'You look like that guy that won X-Factor - can I have a Big Mac and fries please' act like the middle-aged smarm Steve Somethingorother.

She's also been in the business for a while - here's two promo videos she did in 2004.

nope I said this not him.  I don't think he is capable of such acts.  This is my opinion, only mine, and might not be true.

He says he picks some of their songs they release/record,. he continues to leech from them for 5 years after they were formed.

Least it pays for him and his boyfriends expensive lifestyle.
