Anyone see this last night?
Taylor hammers Mason 4-0 and Mason turns nasty, what a stupid little twerp he is.

Taylors interview at the end was excellent stuff but threatening to quit over all these jealous neverwillbe's is not the way to go, he should just carry on smashing them all over the oche.

Crikey, what a plonker.

I'm a big fan of darts but have trouble catching it these days, especially the big ones in Jan which I look forward to each year.

Is any of this on youtube m8?

It wasn't the darts match that turned things nasty, it was comments by Mason in the press about Taylor.  I don't expect Mason liked having his arse kicked 4-0 though.  Taylor seems to get a lot of bad publicity from the other players.  I don't know any of the darts players, but it all seem down to jealousy to me and I feel sorry for him (Taylor)  He's without a doubt, the best darts player that we've ever seens and is a different class above the rest.  He's right when he says that it's not down to him to make up for the other players mistakes.

I quite liked this comment

“I’ve had a lot of stick over my Bentley car. Well, if players like him want one they should get off their backsides and go out and earn one — that’s what I had to do."

I guess being a class above the rest makes you a target and I do quite feel sorry for him.

Saying that, he may rub it in, I don't know.

Maybe even the most dominating man in sport full stop.

That is terrible,  Taylor is correct when he says they should just work harder if they want to win

a lot of people boo him because of his "caravan of love" exploits, and more importantly, because he bought Kim Marsh onto the stage a couple years ago to give her his darts. Shocking behaviour

This is it, the guy is a millionaire yet he was quite prepared to drive from Stoke to our little pub in Birmingham to play an exhibition for a few hundred quid.
At the same time the landlord contacted Bobby George, Wayne Mardell, John Lowe and John Part.
He asked for memorabilia of any sort (signed photo's etc) to auction for charity, 2 never replied, Mardell said no, Taylor said he's come down and Bobby George phoned the pub and offered his services!!

Cool, he came down ?

I used to go to a boozer in Bracknell called The Bridge and one night, we walked in and there was loads of players playing darts.  We went for the footy so decided to leave after a quickie.   Some guy on the occy (ochie, occkie, okky? spelling Cheesy) was wearing a Crafty Cockney shirt and I thought it was some guy just bigging himself up.  Anyway, he throws his 3 darts, gets them and turns around and it was the man himself! Eric in my old pub!

Still left, there was a game to watch Cheesy

yeah he came to a local game in Scotland once to and played 7 exhibition games , my mates cousin actually beat him and he was only 15 at the time , he got signed photographs of himself and Taylor afterwards.

I think hes a top bloke , plus he won me a few quid when i bet him to hit a 170 finish in last years final , only had to wait til the 2nd leg too.

Rodger Federer? when taking into account the greater margin for error in the game.
