Anyone have an idea why my wireless connection will not work, yet if i hook the router upto my computer via a ethernet cable i can log on. it says something about firewalls being connecte, but i have disconnected both firewalls .

any ideas

is their a firewall hiding somewhere

not really sure but the router will have a built in firewall too

Unplugging the router at the back and plugging it back on fixes the problem sometimes surprisingly enough.   Also you can right click on the little computer at the bottom right of the screen (that shows that wireless is connected) and select repair.  This can also fix it.
