  9. Panther stalking.....

The judge was very rash in issuing that restraining order.

I'm sure nadine misses the rustling noise coming from her bushes during those cold winter nights.

Panther2003 Smiley

7. AS far as the sklanksy insanity comment, i think he comes out with the strangest things.  The last one i remember was how anyone voting for a female president should be taking into account whether they might bring the country to war through a bad reaction to pmt. He seemed shocked people didn't discuss this possibility regularly!

Liked the "do you see why" comment. WP.

4. Very tough call. I go for duck in orange sauce as i associate it with roast duck in orange sauce with all the trimmings, roast tatties, honey roast parnsips and swede, glazed carrots, sweet potato mash, gravy, boiled beans in butter and pepper, ....mmmm trimmings. Crispy duck with pancakes et al will always be a dominant force in the culinary world though. It's just mismatched by duck in orange sauce's army of followers.

1. Yeh set is pocket pair that has matched up. I'm sticking with it. Everyone who thinks differently is WRONG!

3. Too close to call. Based on the fact only mourniho wants ashley cole's sloppy seconds, I go nadine. MFI, you are a cheat!!

8. UFC champ all the way.

10. They rock surely. I know a lot of good players view them as a rather unsophisticated attempt to make poker into painting by numbers but they are accessible, well expressed and coherent in a way many other poker books aren't. It's unlikely you'd become a major force purely following harrington but I think his advice would turn a lot of losing players into winning ones.

9. This is a tough one. I think things like snooker and darts highlight the skill levels of individual players more so than things like football and rugby. Very very rare an inferior snooker player will beat his superior opponent over any reasonable session. I guess this is true for athletics events too. Toughie.

2. Not 100% convinced but intuitively i always think the nut flush would be Axd and 67d is "merely" the nut straight flush. Eveyrone seems to agree with this so I'll go for it. Baaaaa.....

5. I phrased this badly. What i meant to say was "who is ahead in this particular scenario...?

or Two Clubs two spades on a flop.

ie the "made" hand of 22 or the big favourite KQd?"

6. I guess this depends on your criteria. I go for raymer personally but hachem might well be the better player.

11. Bourne all the way. Master of disguise, doesn't need a backroom staff of ctu agents to help him out. Fist fight, he'd annihilate bauer.

22 is ahead, KQ is the fave.

1. Is a set only a set when you have a pocket pair that hits the board (66 on A63 flop) or is A3 on a 337 flop a set too?

I would say the first one, but I am a fish remember.

2. Is 67d on a 345d board the nut flush, or is it just the nut str8 flush with Axd being the nut flush?

Yes, I agree it was a tasty pizza. Next time I would prefer larger mushroom slices though

3. Is cheryl or nadine the more attractive member of girls aloud?

Ahh this is an easy question to answer  Cheesy. I admit to having no idea what their names are, but the blonde on the far right is the most attractive. They are all nice, but I have never been convinced by the member who is at the back of the pic.  What is her name?

4. Duck in orange sauce or crispy duck with pancakes?

I don't eat duck, they are nice cute little chaps

5. Which is the best hand, the hand favoured to win by showdown, or the hand that's best if the dealing was stopped now?

Remember and put extra tomato chunks on that pizza please and give me a bottle of that diet coke as well please.

6. Best WSOP champ of recent years.......Moneymaker, Raymer, Hachem or Gold?

I like Joe Hatchem and Greg Raymer. They always seem down to earth and nice guys. Moneymaker appears to be a good bloke from what I have seen in Snoops interview, but I have never read/watched as much as the other two, so it is hard to judge. Gold appears the complete opposite to the other three, even before he won the event, during his interview on the circuit show he seemed like an arrogant and unlikable geezer. Mike Matasow even said he was a prat

7. David Sklanksy is mathematically gifted but quite likely insane. Fair comment?

I tried to read his books, but I am far to thick to understand them. They should come with a free voucher for paracetamol.  I prefer simple books to read and understand, I just hope Mr Men bring out a poker guide 'Mr Men's guide to beating NL' soon.  I would personally choose Mr Tickle to present this book, I feel he would be an excellent choice to explain the game to a wide audience.

8. UFC champ vs boxing champ vs finest hand-to-hand fighter plucked from all the world's armies vs finest streetfighter in a 1 on 1 round robin caged enclosure match. Who wins?

Ryu would always win this, he is  thumbs up

9. Most skillful sport?

There are so many.  Rally Drivers are artists on four wheels, DH mtb racers are artists on two wheels. Each of these demand bravery and amazing handling control by the competators which is as instinctive to them as breathing. Snooker and Chess are also very skillful.

10. Harrington's books suck/ rock?

They are tough going, I got half way through the first one and then gave up. I actually like internet sites far more, they are to the point and can be very informative.

11. Bourne or bauer?

I like both, but I may have to say Bourne on this occassion. Bourne has excellent fighting skills and if I had to choose one to be on my side while fighting out of a secret enemy compound in the jungle, it would be him. Jack is great and for intelligence he would be my choice.

9. Most skillful sport?

9. Dunno, but I'd look for one in which a professional could whip an amateur 100% of the time.

Tennis?

Athletic and Skilful; and one of the ones where the best in the world is fairly indisputable.

Is that really the only reason why we like them though?

you can put your coffee on them if you don't want any nasty stains on your coffee table and are too lazy to get a coaster.

Anyone else have any ideas on what to do with the Harrington books?

Flushie , you do know that drawing a crayon c**k and balls in the margin doesn't mean you've read a book right?
