No offense but how does the Broadway compete against walsall grosvenor?
Seriously in what way is it better?
I assume you will say all comps dealer dealt, well all comps at walsall that are £20 are dealer dealt (they offer variety below this mark).
Sumptuous surroundings (which card player actually cares, the drinks are FAR more expensive).
Erm, i can think of no other argument for the broadway, please do tell.
Well, snoops said this about The Broadway.....
"Good service, prompt starts, friendly staff, dealer dealt tables, great facilities and a sensored flush in the loos, the Broadway really is the bee’s knees...."
All that is true.
Is it better than Walsall? That's a different cup of tea altogether, & is entirely subjective.
snoops thinks it is, clearly, but we can never really say that either is better. It's just a personal "taste" thing.
Me? I prefer the buffets at Walsall.
The dealers uniforms at The Broadway.
Driving to Walsall is easier (for me) than driving to the middle of Birmingham.
The Toilets at The Broadway are bigger, better & cleaner.
The Receptionists at Walsall smile, make eye contact & say "Hello".
At The Broadway, the Receptionists have yet to do their Customer Care bit, & the Reception staff are anything but welcoming.
But most of all, all things being equal, I will prefer to play where.....
The Tourneys start promptly.
The Tourneys are well structured (to suit my taste, that is).
The payout structure is well-balanced.
They have a good Cardroom Manager.
They have sensible Rules, applied firmly & fairly.
Collusion is not encouraged.
We play maximum 9 to a table.
It's smoke-free. (!).
The company is good.
Where I feel made welcome.
The valet service is good.
You pay your money & you take your choice! If I can have all those things, I'd happily pay an Entrance Fee, Reg fee, or reasonable session Fee, call it what you will.
But that's just me like....
