We've lost the end of Day 1 chip leader, Lam Trinh.
He'd dented his stack previously, but decided Nines were the hand. Unfortunately, he ran into both the Jacks of Seamus O'Reilley and the Ladies of Mike Healey, the latter standing up on a harmless 3-8-8-4-6 board.

Chris Smith's slow-and-steady approach means that he may be hovering on around average chips when stacks like his have been won and lost several times by more erratic stack-builders, but he's just won another small pot - after an UTG limper he picked up in two hands what can only be described as a chunk of 1k yellow chips and put them in the middle. His raises seem to be respected; he showed
which he no doubt hopes will enhance that respect...
Elsewhere Caiman Kennedy is holding on to his big stack, but he's not pressed the 'Sit Out' button, raising in position but folding to a bet from big blind caller Shane Clerey on the flop.

Desi Graham is OUT.
Last hand before his break, he made his move with
but ran into the Kings of Dermot Jacob.
70k pot went to Jacob when the board came

Yes, a well deserved praise for snoopy -

Wish I was more like him lol
