The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Well, it's 2 of the clock, but no sign of a start yet. Players are hovering around the table and dealers are getting settled, but I'd say we have at least another 10 minutes before kick-off.

Popular event this one, Matt Tyler is only one of the players who's been raving about it, commenting, "Cracking comp this. Good location, lovely facilities, you stay in the same hotel as the tournament arena, solid dealers, lots of space, comfy chair, good structure and clocks. What more do you want?"
"Bellydancers," I replied.

Ivan Jones is the first player of the day to be eliminated. Made his swan song with Pocket Jacks but his opponent spiked a King on the Flop.
