never seen anything as bad as that , worst ive seen was in cincins in glasgow where a player won a £400 pot in a £1/£1 game  then just got up and went to cash in everyone was like "where the f*** are you going you have to call half an hr"! to which he repied im still down im outa here, which he wasnt he was up about 300. everyone was maoning and shouting obviously and he was basically told dont come back to my knowledge he never did although ive been in for a good while. makes you wonder why the guy did that at ur table if he plays there abit bit pointless really for the sake of 35 sheets

The guy in your example does nothing wrong.  People might think its bad etiquette but he's entitled to sit down and stand up whenever he likes in a cash game.  The 'half an hour' thing is complete garbage.

i used to deal cash games at my local, we had a few guys try this on, none of them got away with it i dont agree with the post that the card room super wont rule on this the one where i delt would allways offer a ruleing if we requested it

id have to say it is the dealers fault for not controlling the table/players/bets he should know at all times how much is in the pot who is doing what and most importantly that the right amount of money annouced is bet. but as you said you had a good night no point makeing a big song and dance over £35 quid, this guy is prob a student and the pressure got to him most likely realised that he needed some bus fair for the next day lol

LeKnave & Horneris

Dont worry i dont plan to come and ruin your gold fish bowl.

But i do plqan to make a night or two there soon. So i can get a feel for the place before the yorkshire cup or whatever its called.

Plus its nice to know of a cash game if i ever get stuck for one.

So if you could let me know what night the tournies and the cash games are on it would be nice to know.

I plan to make atrip report on vegas soon.

Cheers

4dam. Whats the Yorkshire Cup, and when is it?

Sunday night has the £5 rebuy.
Monday night £3 rebuy but we dont usually go to that, (neither do many people due to small prizepool)
Tuesday night atm is a £10 F/O with 5,000 chips, but soon to become a £20 F/O with 10,000 chips.
Wednesday night is a £10 F/O Double Chance. 5,000 chips.

The first 2 hours are 60 minute blind levels, so plenty of play to build yourself a huge stack.

First Tuesday of month is £25 comp i think.
Cash games usually on Wednesday coz of big fields, due to the most popular tourney. But you can just set them up if you wana play. Sometimes on Tues.

More people attend the Freezeouts than rebuys.

I look forward to your trip report. should be a good read.

Shocking. Internet card rooms should have a 'run for the door' button, press it fast enough and you escape.
Reminds me of a conversation with a mate I work with, born and bred Russian, now living in London
"Yeas, but I like also visit the fruit machines in pubs in Moscow"
ME:'You make much on them?'
'Yes, but difficult. Big payout you have to scoop very fast and run for door, sometimes man catching you, bash bash'
'That's rough'
'Yeas but mostly now I play in casinos in Moscaw. It different'
"More above board, you mean?"
'Naw, in casino you never make it to door'.

I went on Wed night and he was there, infact he was dealer at my table Tongue

He had gone the previous night too, not one person had say a word. I talked to cardroom manager and asked him why they letting cheats back in?

The lad was full of it as usual and even had cheek to try be clever with a few people. When he got busted out the table openly discussed it and I was saying how suprising it is no one actually said a thing. Well atleadt alot of peeps now know what he is like.

Ps New Moortown Groves Leeds, schedule going up I post on live section.

The cash game was just starting as I left and I did not see him.

I busted out with 5 times the BB gambling, no complaints.

I was at an action table must have been 10 bustouts in the first hour, I managed to double up with 72 in the BB Smiley No hands for 3hrs 30mins Sad Had fun though

it depends on the rules locally.

both the cash games games at grosvenor/stanley in newcastle had 1/2 hr rules and were adhered to.

a new american chappie broke this exception as he was used to hit and run tactics, and was effectively  barred from sitting down.
