Blonde backgammon tournament

OK, with apologies for taking a couple of days to get back to you on this - some arrangements/suggestions for the Blonde backgammon tournament....
In so far -
snoopy
wardonkey
tractor (?)
madyank
smithy69
adamm
itsmralex2u
zebediah
stone
karabiner
nemesis (?)
thetank
thebaron
moskvich
Which makes 14, which is quite an annoying number. Any more interest..?
If we get 16 or more then I suggest we just go for a straight knockout with first-round byes if necessary. First round losers go into a 'plate' competition, so that everyone gets at least two games for their cash.
Prizes 55% for first, 25% for runner-up, 20% for 'plate' winner.
If we end up with slightly less than 16 then I propose coming up with some cunning group stage affair, with everyone playing say 3 games and then top four overall going into semifinals.
Prizes 35%/25%/15%/15%.
Entry $10.
Entries can be paid to me by transfer at PokerStars or Full Tilt (to Moskvich on both). (If anyone, or indeed everyone, would rather transfer their cash to someone better-known on here than I am, I obviously don't have a problem with that - please just let me know.)
Matches to be played wherever you like, by arrangement between players. Online, i'd suggest Play65 or a skin such as GammonEmpire, or use the Ladbrokes site or PartyGammon. Then just play a free game with your allotted foe.
Matches to be played to 7 points (doubling cube in play, Crawford rule), Final to 13.
Suggestions/questions and NEW ENTRIES very welcome. I'll post a final list of participants and rules by the end of this week, so we can get started next week.
Cheers all.

Have dollars on Stars, FTP and Blonde. So any poker currency chosen is ok with me.

Thanks Mr Bongo Freakazoid, you know all the good technical stuff...
Hey, incidentally, you don't know where one can download whole and uncorrupted Freakazoid episodes? I have tried, and failed... Particularly I am interested in locating the episode where beavers get turned into gold... My memory's a little hazy, but I definitely remember beavers... And gold...

Oh, you might have to wait a few days for my $10. I've got some money on Stars but I think I might have mentioned I'm having a few computer problems...
