Tom McEvoy is also OUT - got it all in threeway against Sevens and Queens with AK, but no hit and the hopes of the Americans must now rest on the broad shoulders of TJ Cloutier.

Pity about El Blondie - I got this good photo of him looking dreamy after his double up.  Remeber him this way...

Nick Slade has doubled up to around the 95k mark with Ace King suited versus chip leader Brent Wheeler's Pocket Queens.

And for once, it wasn't all-in pre-flop, instead, Nick flopping the nut flush draw and moving in on the Turn.

No heart arrived, but a black King hit to give Nick a monster pot.

Moments later, Wheeler tilted off 15k and is probably back down to around 55-75k.

Once again, P.I. Slade gets his man.

Apologies for the slight delay, players were on a short 15 minute break, but I believe they are returning now.

Daniel 'Kinboshi' Philips is OUT -

Another pass round to small blind Simon Mycock.  Another push in from the stack which was more than four times that of Daniel's...but this time he beat Simon into the pot, making his stand with .  What did the s.b. bully have?  That hand.
Flop:
Turn:
River:    A handshake for a visibly disappointed Daniel Philips, whose first major tournament experience was nonetheless well played.

Unlucky, that's a horrible looking flop for him.

Double up for Kim Hemmingsen with , though (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, the old no pair top kickers hand).  It works better against , which is what button caller of Kim's cutoff push TJ Cloutier had.  Before the hands went over, TJ said, "Once again, you're in the lead."  Despite his read, the 23k pot moved to his right, however, although TJ's nowhere near the danger zone.

Slight problem here. Rhowena arrived to be told there were no more press badges (even though she had applied online). I lent my press badge to Rhowena so she could go in and take some snaps for our gallery whilst I typed up some posts, security didn't like this and revoked my badge, therefore meaning Jen is the only one who has access now.

Bit mean, but there you go.

Time for the old "swapsies" routine?

That may be tricky because they know we only have one and will notice when we go in seperately. We can't afford to have our remaining press pass taken away from us too.

Here's the PokerStars crew warming up the feature table. I believe there is a live feed into the pressroom tomorrow, so my lack of a press badge won't be a problem.

Huge pot makes a chip leader of Simon Mycock (Londoner, according to BA based in Oslo, so both UK and Scandie in one):

on an flop, he bet out 8k (I think) into two other players.  His neighbour, decently stacked, made the call, while the other guy fled the scene.
Turn: .  Simon checks, Matey bets 15k pretty fast, and before the chips have come to a full stop, Simon says, "All in."  Instacall.
Simon shows:
Matey shows:  three clubs

And the river gives a monster pot to Simon, giving him over 180,000 which he just moved from neighbour's stack to his own with ever so slightly shaky hands...
