Following that nasty outdraw on the river, it appears as though Dave Courtney is OUT.

JP has 24k, he limped-called a raise with 35 soooted and flopped a straight to bust Mateyboy's Kings.

So, suited gappers, the way of the future?

Karl actually had a bit more than 2k left, but he's back up to 9.5k now, first with A-A against A-Q, then he picked up another decent pot without having to show his pocket Jacks.

Nick "Ripple" Jenkins knocked out Garry Bush. The latter pushed his short stack in with K-9 against Jenkins pocket Tens, hitting a king on the flop. Ten came on the turn though.

chip leaders as follows

Mark Lowe 42,000
Steve Templeman 40,000
Driton Haxhiaj 35,000
Dave Clark 30,000
Warren Woolridge 30,000
Terry Mason 25,000
Paul King 20,000

Steve Templeman, who doesn't play the circuit much these days due to both family commitments and his work running the Jack Kings Poker Clubs in the home counties, got his chips as follows

Dave Johnson raises in MP
Steve flat calls in blinds

flop

all the chips fly in, Dave has   , Steve has   . No flush comes and Steve moves near the top of the pack with Dave Johnson OUT

81 left, average chips 13,100 blinds just gone 150-300

Ryan Fronda raises in EP to 1k (Blinds are 150/300 for 20 more minutes). Mark Lowe in the small blind calls as does Peter Gould (High finishing Brit from EPT Baden) in the BB.

Flop:

two spades

Mark bets 1k, Peter raises to 4k, Ryan passes with a big sigh, as does Mark.
