Anthony Nicholls has just picked up a big pot, raising with    and being re-raised by a young mateyboy who set himself in

Anthony had a tough decision, and eventually called for half his remaining stack

Good call, as MB had    (which was to be fair a decent move, as Anthony nearly passed)

on the river sealed the deal for Anthony who rises to over 40,000 in chips

Ok, he didn't steal he had a set of 3's.

There's just been another pot where a raise, was followed by a re-raise and Rookie pushed with A-K and the re-raiser folded Q-Q to him. Rookie over 30k, I think the fact that 11th to 18th all pay £1,000 has something to do with that push.

Also, having spoken to JP, (who lost a race when matey had 44 against JP's AQ), Karl Marenholz (couldn't get a guy to fold 88 on a K-K-J-9-x board), Rooks and a couple of the other players, all of them would've liked to have seen running antes in the tournament, as would Tighty and myself, (just so I can use the puntastic running antes kicking in picture). After the successful structure of the Bolton GUKPT event, hopefully more big buy-in tournaments will introduce it.

Nick Ripple11 Jenkins is OUT, not wanting to have to come  back tomorrow with 10 BB's Nick pushed with KQ for 12k and found a surprising caller from the BB who called all-in with AT sooted. He flopped a Queen but a rivered Ace put him down to 1 BB which went all-in next hand in with   in a 3-way pot with Irish Dennis's and Matey's .

Board:

Irish Dennis, who had made good decisions all-day went next hand with an Ace-rag to the same Matey's Q-Q again next hand.

Rookieitb -- 23.4k
Mick "Slick Kid" McCool -- 21.6k

Play is now over for the night.
