Don't get why Hardeep didn't bet the flop and take it there. Tilly would surely have given him credit for the ace and passed the deuces. Thought Laak did a good job of making him feel even more uncomfortable after the F word incident.

Brian's comments after Hardeep is out.. "I really don't care." Yes, but what he was referring to was the other players' analysis of how he (Hardeep) played his cards. Yes I know. What I found funny was the three others all analysing his play and why his bluff didn't work. Cut to Brian. "I really don't care."

I felt really uncomfortable for him watching that - it felt like watching the bullying on Big Brother!

An excellent programme IMO.
So many of these documentaries make gamblers look like degenerate losers. This one made poker look like a skilful and fun game.
Laak was an arse for making the Hardeep feel so uncomfortable.

I agree, I get fed up with most of the rubbish in the media, this was probably the most real reflection of the game I've seen.

yeah matusow swears all the time on high stakes poker
laak was playing at that time too
it was no big deal
I guess he was deliberately getting him very uncomfortable once the game had started
personally if i was playing way outta ma bankroll to that degree i would need a man nappy
but im sure everyone here if they could would take a chunk outta their bankroll just for the opportunity to have a shot at the big names there
glad to see our own 'el blondie took it down
i wonder where cins finest tony chessa was??

It wouldn't have been so bad except no one else seemed to make any effort to make him feel at ease - all came across as very cliquey and not a comfortable experience for an outsider. That could well all be in the editing though.

Glad my first and last live event was brilliant due to people making me feel so at ease

Helmuth is a legend, 5 out of 10, maaaaaaan he's amazing at this, can see why the presenter got so excited. I'd have gone for five trues followed by five falses, would that be any worse? Also, a bloke with a Scottish accent (slight, but it's there) wearing a pink turban trying to persuade you he's not from Scotland and pink is not his favourite colour is never gonna work.
Can just imagine Helmuth's reaction when he sees he was not given the point for 'I've never lost a game of heads-up' which Hardeep claims is true....which followed directly from him doing his money to both Steve Lipscomb and Daniel Negreanu...maybe these were 'one on one' games?

Negreanu's comment when he answered the door " You are the first naked man to ever come to my door" . I like Daniel Negreanu, he seems like a thoroughly decent person and is great for poker
