Hard to put him on a hand but i think you can safely say you are behind,    and are possible candidates.

Probably AQ.

2.5bb pre, then doesn't get silly with K high flop. Kepps the pot small to the river, knows the second 4 is a good card and he has top kicker too. Tried  alittle value bet on the end.

No way KK. That flop could have all kinds of possiblities for straight and flush draws, so I wold be absolutely amazed if he gave you a free turn card that could damage him.

Probably AQ. Maybe a flush draw. The two diamonds help you because AK KK QQ here is defending against straight and flush draws, he's doing none of that. So if he's not trapping he's convinced he's still ahead, which is probably AQ, value bet on river.
Still see plenty of people playing AK like this though, 'slow playing' it through that jungle...

At a push he had a draw that missed and took his chance on an endbluff, sensing weakness and representing a slowplay. It's a tricky hand. With 99 here I'd prefer to do nothing on the turn, personally.

i felt i was ahead on the turn hence the bet, if you had aq wouldn't you bet the flop still?

I personally would, the cost of a loss to a K-holder is better than going to the river without info, and chances are you'll take it there and then if no one has hit. I notice a lot online now that AQ checks this flop and then assumes no action means his Q is good and bets the turn.

I looked at this hand again, and to be honest, at no point you are trying to get a control of the pot.  I don't know your opponents - presuming you were multitabling;

you limp from UTG with your stack and the blinds I would prefer to raise here tbh.  If you limp and you have re-raise then flat calling  here really is to  follow no set no bet rule.

If you are ahead on the flop with the flush draw why do u give every1 free card?

raising with a mid pair in early position is surely asking for trouble?
