Spineless, gutless batting display from my team.

Bowled out for 136, giving Wardonkey a win by .... er, lots.

Well played the Ponies.

Time for a 3 hour 'hairdryer session' in the Paviliion with this bunch of idiots.

Blimey, I left the house today having lost 3 wickets and scoring at less just over 4 an over. I was hopeful that I might make a contest out of the game but I didn't expect to skittle you like that!

There have been some surprising results today, I expected my game to be quite close.

Was happy with how my innings finished and thought I'd just about scraped a decent total.

I think it shows if you can get some early wickets then you can really affect the course of the game!

Couple of good pops in my nets this week, now have 3 players with proficient ratings, and my opening bat is coming on really strong ( top scorer and top average in my league)... am playing the remainder of this season on TIE as they seem to play better that way, and I have no realistic chance of promotion this year.. am improving my team as much as I can, and pushing home as hard as is possible next season

i notice the net training sessions for each discipline depend on how many staff you have - but can you only have a maximum of 10 sessions even if you have more staff?

I could easily do 25/30 nets with half of my useless lot...mainly to stop my team performing the most stunning collapses

That's correct, which means it's always a headache trying to get the best out of your nets!

Happy days for me on the training front, one of my new 17yos popped in both bowling (respectable) and consistency (competent)

So how often can you change the sessions to rotate the players in the nets?

As often as you like...

The nets themselves take place once a week on a Monday.

So can I give one player 10 nets in a week and it counts the same as if he had 10 single sessions over 10 weeks ?

And could all 10 of these nets be for the same discipline ?

Matt -I think you probably missed out this week...

Nakor - No, you get full value from the first net, if you give him more nets in the same discipline then the return for each subsequent net diminishes by about 35% . If you were to give a player one bowling net and one batiing net he would however still get 100% from each.

They happen at 10:30am.

You can see if your players got nets by clicking on the "view net info" link - will tell you what nets they had in the last week.

Thanks Mr Key.

Do you guys use a spreadsheet to predict and track pops or is it another function on the growing list that favours membership ? (Going to have to get my wallet out I guess)

No pops for me that I can notice this week, and a few decreases in BR's and joke upon joke my weekly pull worthless in all except comp in Wicket Keeping and Bowling very handy.
