my captain has made his 100 but the fun is about to start in the last 10 overs he is batting witht the tail and the 2 bowlers i am upagainst is the bowler that took 4 wickets and the opening bowler who went for about 6 an over (times like this i wish some of my players had a little experiance)

i thought at start of day 150 would be a great score i am hoping we make 200 now

defeat is still 100% certainty they have a 80k BT rating opening batsman

My trainee FM finished with figures of:
Foot: 10-0-40-2

Which aren't bad at all. Took a catch too!

decent figures spoiled in the last over Sad

End of Over 44: 217-7, runrate=4.93
Hagan 10-1-55-3
Hatred* 7 (7 balls)
Lea 19 (9 balls)

Last Wicket: Phiwokwakhe c. Berry b. Hagan 23 (FOW: 195/7)

43.6 . Hagan to Lea
Padded away to the on side, no run.
43.5 6 Hagan to Lea
Mistimes his shot but he's a big, powerful man and the ball still flies into the member's area for six.
43.4 1 Hagan to Hatred
Solid stroke down to long off.
43.3 1 Hagan to Lea
That was a very risky single.
43.2 6 Hagan to Lea
He's flashed at it and it's gone over third man.
43.1 1 Hagan to Hatred
Mistimed pull shot screws out to the on side for a slightly fortunate single.

I opened brightly 6 an over for the first 10 or so overs.

Finished 143/10 and again my tail failed to score more then 5 runs for the 5 wickets.  I have now tried every combination I can think of and I just cant get them to hang around for more then 3 balls each.

Oppo's now 14/0 from 3 its going to quick.

Damn last week for giving me false hope.

Lets just hope the trainees don't let me down in the 1st Norfolk Knock Up on Sunday.

I have to chase down 162 after bowling the opposition out.

It's very rare for a tail to make any runs, mainly because they usually have no batting skill whatsoever.

now thats what i call bringing back your two openers to polish off their tail end!!

End of Over 46: 221-10, runrate=4.80
Berry 7-1-21-3
Lea* 20 (10 balls)

45.4 W Berry to Leabua
OUT! Thin edge and Tau takes a textbook catch.
45.3 . Berry to Leabua
Leabua charges but leaves it alone, trying to manipulate Berry's length here.
45.2 W Berry to Manchester
An inside edge to a straight delivery helps the ball find leg stump; such a disappointing way to get out!
45.1 . Berry to Manchester
Wide of off, stroked out to point.

End of Over 45: 221-8, runrate=4.91
St. hubbins 8-1-34-2
Manchester* 2 (4 balls)
Lea 20 (10 balls)

Last Wicket: Hatred c. Tau b. St. hubbins 7 (FOW: 217/8)

44.6 1 St. hubbins to Manchester
Worked wide of Berry for a single. Good placement.
44.6 nb. St. hubbins to Manchester
no ball, Good length fullish ball angling away just outside off stump, shuffles well forward before shouldering arms to Tau.
44.5 . St. hubbins to Manchester
What a ball! He's turned him inside out with that one.
44.4 1 St. hubbins to Lea
With soft hands, Lea drops the ball at his feet and steals a quick run.
44.3 1 St. hubbins to Manchester
    Driven to mid off.
44.2 W St. hubbins to Hatred
Hatred is beaten by the swing and gifts a thin edge to Tau.
44.1 . St. hubbins to Hatred
Snickometer is suggesting that Hatred got lucky there. I'm surprised that neither St. hubbins or Tau went up for that one.

SPOT THE "MISTAKE" IN THE BOWLING FIGURES!!

Berry 7-1-21-3
St. hubbins 8-1-34-2
Hagan 10-1-55-3 (includes going for 15 in last over)
Burns 10-2-26-2
Wilde 10-0-83-0

OOPS Cheesy I reckon i gifted him 60 runs based on the stats of my new signing that didnt play compared to my other bowlers!!

bowled them out in 46 overs for   168

Halls 8-1-21-4

Anton 10-2-23-0

very satisfied with the bowling , now for a decent batting performance

there seems to be a lot of low scores amongst all the teams who batted first today - coincidence or down to weather conditions?

pity its the guy with only the 3k rating and it brings to the crease the guy with a 36k rating to partner the 81k rating

such is life

End of Over 50: 288-6, runrate=5.76

2 of those wickets in last 4 balls.

He has some monster bowlers as I remember.

Plus I'm chasing again. Still not won one of them yet. Was doing ok last week but they got me a few runs and a few overs short.
