Won by 37 runs in the end.

Thought it was going to be a much tighter finish

8 in cup so far, starts week on sunday.

Will leave it open to anyone wanting to play until this sunday then we can finalise the format and fixtures for the following weeks games.

I've challenged you for a game this sunday dave, Bigglesthwaite CC

I make 8 teams up for the cup so far.

Would you prefer 2 groups with top 2 in each going to a semi final, or a straight knockout? The groups would guarantee everyone at least 3 games.

Pitch will be flat for Sunday Dave for a nice high scoring (hopefully) game.

2 Groups for me.

I'd much prefer to play 3 games and finish bottom than be dumped out in 1 game.

Ok then, somrthing like this: 2 groups randomly drawn, top 2 in each go through, 1st in group 1 plays 2nd in group 2 and the other way round, winners of those games into the final and losers can play off for 3rd/4th.

You'll just have to arrange the games up each week, by setting a friendly with your opponent.

So no one should arrange other friendlies from next week on otherwise we'll miss games and get behind.

OK Got ya so we cant actually set up a cup comp on battrick then ? we have to do it ourselves and play them as friendlies ? you gonna put all the names in a hat and do it that way to work out the leagues and who plays who ? Dave

Bongo any idea why there is no commentary today ? i haven't even got up that the game is currently being played, the fixture is still in the matches to be played section even though it should have started at 10.30 . Dave
