the one that you bought for 22k was only 2k BT rating when you got him mine was 6k

and the other one you got was 89k and his bt rating was a lot less too

yours are proberly better players than mine now though as you have had them in the nets for a few months

and there bt ratings have shot up

and respectable cons is good too, I thought you had mediocre bowling, mediocre cons for your £50k!

just bought a player that i hope will give me the edge i need in opening my bowling attack 42k and 25 year old so not 1 for future but should plug a whole in my starting line up and with the 20/20 round the corner could be usefull to have an extra player or 2

I'm not too worried about the 20:20 games.

3 in 3 days, totals 60 overs batting, 60 overs fielding (max).

compared to normal one dayers - 50 overs batting, 50 fielding. Do them twice in 3 days too...

Also I think most of us will end up in a group with one person who is significantly better than us, so it's main purpose will just be to bring in the cash.

I'm also planning on not raiding the coffers until next season now - when I know what lies ahead of me for the next season (or maybe more...) I will know what type of players will best suit my club. If Im going straight back down it might be I just make do with what I have and keep my trainees improving...

i have been looking at the teams a level up and i will struggle so i expect to come straight back down

the player has med in stam and constisancy and fielding and is competant in bowling is also a LF so should go nice with my RF bowler for my seam attack

I've seen some very easy Vs (that I would expect to win every match!) and some very hard Vs (where I would expect to lose every match).

i know with hatrick you can get software that will predict which league you go into havent seen it for battrick though i will have a look tonight

As was stated earlier, the first group games will be played on Saturday 28th April, there will then be a break for friendlies on the Sunday before the group games resume again on the Monday and Tuesday. Your groups will be visable on your team pages shortly after the last round of league matches are complete.

How we all doing today? The new team I'm playing has some pretty smart bowlers and the manager's bought well too

I'm 97-0 after 23 overs but a run rate of 4.2 is well below par for my lot, even taking the green pitch and overhead conditions into account. Still, only his 17 year old batters look up to much so hopefully the decision to TIE before my playoff game next week won't backfire on me.
