The umpire hesitates for a caught behind appeal from Brown, but Austin decided to walk anyway.

IF one of my players walked in that situation...

I managed to win my playoff match as well!

Im now in the same boat as Sheriff and will take a season of hammerings.
I'm now toying with the idea of stadium expansion, but it is very expensive.

Stadium expansion is good because it gets you a lot more money - particularly as you have no covered seating at the start.

However I wait and see how your new league goes. You may have a long run of away games at the start and end up paying extra maintenance/losing interest for something that isn't used. Also if you do get hammered you might not be able to fill your ground.

I managed to record a 15run win against the best side in my group so should now qualify for knockout stages.  Happy days.  Hopefully last weeks result was just a blip.

It's the 219th grade 5 league. The 219 means nothing - it's just the number assigned to that grade 5 league as there are many leagues of each grade (256 grade ).

Grade 5 is one up from grade 6 (where we all started) and is the second lowest grade in England at the minute.

Managed to win my return match with Iron today.

Makes up for being bowled out for 50 in 10 overs in the 20/20 yesterday.
