I managed to win my playoff match as well!
Im now in the same boat as Sheriff and will take a season of hammerings.
I'm now toying with the idea of stadium expansion, but it is very expensive.

Stadium expansion is good because it gets you a lot more money - particularly as you have no covered seating at the start.
However I wait and see how your new league goes. You may have a long run of away games at the start and end up paying extra maintenance/losing interest for something that isn't used. Also if you do get hammered you might not be able to fill your ground.

Just click on the team name and you will see something like: sixextra (4358) General Manager: pacestar Country: England Region: Nottinghamshire One Day League: #4 in V.219 First Class League: #4 in V.22 Twenty20 League: #0 in England group 704 Ground: fortress cc |

It's the 219th grade 5 league. The 219 means nothing - it's just the number assigned to that grade 5 league as there are many leagues of each grade (256 grade  ). Grade 5 is one up from grade 6 (where we all started) and is the second lowest grade in England at the minute. |
