A RFM with steady personality, I already have a nice spinner in training - just need to pick up another bowling trainee at some point and I'll be happy.

Yes, hopefully he'll do a job - wouldn't mind picking up an attacking or destructive fast bowler as well, but they are pretty rare (and expensive).

He's not much of a replacement for the respectable attacking fast bowler I already have though is he? He only cost me a grand too! But yes, I need 1 more trainee bowler so although I'd prefer an attacking fast I'll take any form of seamer really (and then try and trade him later if he doesn't meet my needs). After that I'll be trying to save up some cash for most of the season, so I doubt I'll buy anyone else (for at least a week).

Good luck tomorrow Ramshire.
For me the squad is lackig, the transfers have not come, the finances are in a mess and the ground is small and falling apart, but I am looking forward to the season ahead.
Good luck in the new season everyone.

I'm really looking forward to it, especially when the blonde cup kicks off as they were the most enjoyable games for me last season! Hope everyone has the best of luck in their opening games. I'm a little disappointed as my new signings are too tired to play this week

Cricket comes to Jungleville - Matts Monkeys have hit town, now how do i join the blonde league / cups? Its looks like its assigned me to a league and team based on someone else dropping out? Apparently i have 3 hours to review my team and pick my tactics - blimey i didnt realize there would be all this pressure!!

Welcome to Battrick Matt!
You've jioned on the opening day of the new season, I hope you have a good one.
Once Bongo has read your post I'm sure he'll add you to the list of cup entrants.
There is also a blonde alliance but to join that you need to become a battrick supporter and pay a subscription, I think it's £15. You get a few more functions to play which make life a little easier but the basic game remains the same whether or not you pay. The alliance adds little more than a slightly quicker route to finding your mates team to challenge him to a friendly or peruse his squad.

do you get to watch the game as it progresses? If you can - how? It has to be better than watching England play surely

Go to fixtures, click on the little TV wotsit next to team names.
There seems to be a gremlin in the works at the moment. The site sometimes slows down when it is busy.

You have the right page.
If you upload a logo, then that appears in box where the "?" currently resides.
I think the arrival of the Matt's Monkeys has overloaded the system. You have brought down the battrick empire in 3 short hours...

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=21842.0Hattrick is Battrick's big brother and a bit more sophisitcated. Be very careful with your money in this one. I started a couple of months ago and I think it will take me a year to get out of the hole I have dug for my team.
