Opposition scored 304-9 off their 50.

I think they're on a par with last week's cup opposition, which would indicate I'll get 150-200 in reply.

That's where I'm expecting to be.  I don't think I can chase it down.

323-7 not the huge total I hoping for but should be enough.  I have 2 spinners on a dusty track. If they can chase it down then they're a better side than I thought.

My bowlers did well, finally succumbing to a RR of more than 4 in the last 10 overs

End of Over 50: 211-4, runrate=4.22

2 new bowlers this year plus a guy I kept overlooking last year.

Hopefully the batsmen will provide me nice quick victory whilst I drive to Blackpool to get the kid for my Wembley trip on Sunday.

C'MON THE POOL.

Best of luck guys.

End of Over 50: 324-4, runrate=6.48

198 run 3rd wicket stand saving me from setting a sub par total, both batsmen hitting tons!

C'MON THE POOL.

I'll be rooting for them this weekend, due to the Robbie Williams (no, not that one) factor!

Hope its a great weekend Yogi.

hehehe this game is easy!!

End of Over 1: 2-1, runrate=2.00, reqrunrate=6.31 (310-8)
St. hubbins 1-0-2-1
Forde* 1 (1 balls)
Grant 1 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Thorpe c. Stanley b. St. hubbins 0 (FOW: 1/1)

0.6 1 St. hubbins to Forde
Stroked wide of Abel and the batsmen cross for one.
0.5 W St. hubbins to Thorpe
The slower ball from St. hubbins caused Thorpe to loft an easy catch to mid-on.
0.4 . St. hubbins to Thorpe
Oooh! Thorpe tried to pull that ball for four but only managed to get a bottom edge which bounced once in front of the stumps, and just jumped over it! St. hubbins curses his luck as Hatred runs in to field
0.3 . St. hubbins to Thorpe
Thorpe raises the bat and lets it through to Hatred. If he has many more leaves he'll be a tree!
0.2 1 St. hubbins to Grant
An athletic, full length dive restricts them to a single.
0.1 . St. hubbins to Grant
St. hubbins saw Grant coming and pushed that one through much flatter ...... very intelligent bowling but beautifully played by Grant

We'll have monkeys in the test team before long!!!

1.2 . Hickey to Lungile
Lungile is beaten all ends up as he is distracted by a streaker vaulting over the long off fence. Play is stopped momentarily as she leads the stewards a merry dance around the field, before being tackled by Bopp.

0.2 W Nel to Giggs
The bowler and the crowd go wild, while Giggs hangs his head in shame as the umpire raises his finger to a clear LBW

Whoops.

Not started well

End of Over 3: 13-2, runrate=4.33, reqrunrate=6.34 (310-8)
St. hubbins 2-0-8-2
Grant* 5 (7 balls)
Gilbert 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Forde c & b. St. hubbins 7 (FOW: 13/2)

2.6 W St. hubbins to Forde
Oh what a catch. St. hubbins has pussycat-like reflexes.

Managed to hold Ramshire to 282-8.

15-0 off 4 in reply - just dont think my guys can score quick enough.  Could be a good finish, and learnt a few things about my new attack today, now chase um down boys.

Ramshire are a class outfit - I wouldn't like to be chasing that against them, especially if the pitch favours the spinners.

My defence is ticking along ok, one bowler is expensive but has taken a wicket, the other is quite cheap. I do have runs to play with though and they are behind the rate by a decent amount so i'm happy at the minute.

Lewis    5-2-9-2 - a tidy opening spell from my best seamer.

Pity my worst seamer was at the other end getting tonked for 38 runs.

Time for a bit of tweak.

looks like a good bowler

i have a future England international

10.1    wd   Brooker to Sebastian
Whoa. That ball could have been fielded by square leg. A huge wide, this boy needs some training.

10 Overs in and I'm happy to be leaving them to it. Lost that early wicket but feeling fine now.

End of Over 10: 76-1, runrate=7.60, reqrunrate=3.40 (211-4)

Killen* 35 (31 balls)
Collis 37 (28 balls)
