Oh dear.

I seem to have selected my wicket keeper to bowl instead of my medium pacer!

I did wonder when a couple of earlier balls went 'through to McAllister'

Just 2 runs off his first over, hopefully I won't pay to dear a price for a sloppy error.

He's been tonked for 10 in his next over. With my dodgy seamer still to bowl 5 overs  , I''m going to need the other 3 guys to bowl well.

I've turned a comfortable victory into a tight game with one easy misclick....

seems like there bowling attack is very good

i am into my tail

End of Over 16: 62-6, runrate=3.88, reqrunrate=4.74 (222-9)

by the looks of it he doesnt have anyone that can score runs but he sure has some wicket takers

My bowlers are proving expensive and the opposition are above the required run rate.

Thankfully i've just taken my 5th wicket with the score on 108 in the 17th over Smiley

End of Over 17: 80-1, runrate=4.71, reqrunrate=7.42 (324-4)

And as I type I've just taken another wicket!

Looking good now!

Midway point of their innings

End of Over 25: 146-5, runrate=5.84, reqrunrate=6.60 (310-8)
Berry 6-0-18-1
Monkhouse* 16 (23 balls)
Trueman 29 (39 balls)

The score is similar to mine at this stage of the innings but i had only lost the 1 wicket - hopefully they wont have enough wickets in hand to finish the job Smiley

End of Over 25: 127-3, runrate=5.08, reqrunrate=7.88 (323-7)

Reasonably confident.

Roach is even more confident;

'Roach is always a liability when he's fielding on the boundary. He's just got himself another pint of bitter from the crowd.'

i need 109 runs off 24 overs at a rr of 4.54

only problem is i only have 3 wickets left

my all rounder doesnt seem to be taking the strike enough
and the only bowler than can bat i put in at number 11 last night as he was a replacement and i didnt have time to changeall the batting and bowling orders
it wont be long before the guys bowling attack resurface and at that stage i will be skittled
his 2 bowlers now are dregs but with the lack of a decent batsman left in along with my orders being protect your wicket no one is making hay while the sun is shinning

been bowling reasonably well , could do with taking some wickets though
