looked and saw he was a spinner NOT great
i already have 3 spinners and was looking for a FM, F or M
think i might have added a 4th spinner to my rostrum
might get rid of one of the 2 younger none trainee spinners

i aint got him yet another 2 hours before it closes
last night i went to bed an hour after making a bid on a bowler that would of fitted in nice he went for 1k more than i bid

i have had this bid in 2 hours now no movement although there was a flurry of bids from 3k to 15k when i bid

he is proberly better than my 2 spinners although he cant bat as good as oakway he has better 2nds better stamina and better fielding

money aint a problem thoughas i am making a healthy profit i am trying to get a bit of backbone to try and get that play off place i think with another good seemer and batsman and getting my current team some form then i have a chance

Though Id just drop a quick post saying Hello.  Im the luckbox Bongo probably speaks of every now and again, I can assure you it's all skill though.  Buying players on their form only is clearly the way forward in Battrick......

i am buying them when they are low on form when they get form there BT rating shooots right up and this would hopefully lead to price inflation but i plan on keeping them for my 1st class team

well i've got nearly £8m in the bank, yet I can't work out how to spend it... it seems you pay rediculous prices for very average players in this game, yet the curve flattens out as you get to higher players. I'd have to spend all my cash buying a player that given a couple of seasons, most of my trainees will be better than! I'm therefore considering saving up a bit more, and buying a national-team player for around £10-11m - someone who's awesome at batting, and with any luck will keep me in the division (if it's not too late). That's the theory anyway, unless anyone's got any better ideas (apart from bidding £8m for one of your trainees!!)....

Get in touch with Jon_boy (England National Manager) in the game and say you're interested and see what he says, you'll need to commit nets to keep him in the NT though.
