You keep the ITS forever, but the most you can spend is 35. The amount you can spend is limited by the state of your academy. So if you academy is superb then you can spend 35, otherwise it is less.

The random element in producing the youngsters is larger than any other, you can spend 35 ITS and still get a useless player, or none and get a very good player.

I've stopped spending money on the academy, if you have millions it might be worth the gamble, but generally I think it's a waste of money. Just take your free youth pulls and cross your fingers.

You can take your free youth pulls and keep the ITS in the bank if you want. That way you can save them up for one biggie when you have 35.

My advise however would be to just spend any ITS you have at the moment and stop spending money on the academy.

Have to disagree here

I spent 30 ITS points last week and got this guy:

William Piper - 17 yo, BT Rating=6,683
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, mediocre batting form, competent bowling form, changeable
A cautious player with respectable leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: abysmal Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: proficient Concentration: respectable
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: woeful

I'm currently spending £10K a week on my Academy Investment.
The idea is to get out a couple of decent players a season to replace my starting duffers.  Then i can sell the rest for what i imagine to be good money.  I think the above player would be worth much more that the investment put in.

I've spent 35 ITS for a guy with a max ratings of mediocre, I've pulled better players without using any ITS.

That fella would have been respectable/competent without the ITS. The biggest factor in youth pulls is luck, not ITS investment.

Every single guy i have trained without ITS investment has been a total waste of time.

It's even more dissappointing when you spend £60k on ITS and whatever on academy improvements and they still turn out rubbish.

I've had 2 half decent (comp+) pulls without any ITS. Before I stopped chucking money at it I made 2 pulls with 35 ITS, both were useless. I'd spent about £200k on the academy and the ITS. For me it was a total waste of money...

Hmm

I've only really just started throwing the money at the ITS, and i've had 2 very good players out of it.

BTW: Not a good start in todays game vs Yogi.    I'm 6-2 after 2 overs!

Make that 12-3 after 3overs

I have a sneeky feeling that Yogi's team might be on GFI mode

Gave my entire first team the weekend off after our third league win puts us in contention for at least a play-off place.

Gives me a chance to see which of my "squad" players may be able to cut it in the first team - result 59 all out vs ramshire Cheesy

Sheriff batting first -

End of Over 25: 101-2, runrate=4.04

I'm happy with that, a close match in the making.

my openers were supposed to be the bedrock of my batting cant believe the both went out first over
they are the only 2 of my first team from friday
3rd guy in is no surprise he went out as he has worthless stamina

cook is a slogger i was hoping he would hit a few run off the final few overs
guess thats not going to happen
the 2 left in now
1 is a WK i was going to train him up but decided the nets would be better else where so he is just cover for sayce now
the other is going to be a first team player once his stamina gets up one or two levels
i have no batting left once you get these 2 out

i am impressed with the run rate of 6.0 but with no wickets left on a flat pitch i will fail to make the 340 i need
