A champions league final can help you get a bargain too!

Right then, Good luck for the new season all.
With some mad transfer dealings and a gift from the ITS god I am more prepared then I imagined for FC games, I hope it at least won't be embarrissing. But the new bowling options leave huge oppertunity for errors it seems.
Money might be tight if the FC income does not hit expectations, and I am still struggling with the decision over build a solid squad or a couple of stars in the nets, but that will depend on how FC goes I think.
So once again enjoy and good luck.

Keep it and earn max interest!
The player looks quite nice, but I don't think he'd be able to perform for you for a long time.
He'd need a lot more stamina to perform as an all rounder, his secondaries need raising and his PFL is shot.
Again, for the money I really think you'd do a lot better by keeping it and earning the extra £80k a week (you can easily buy your squad players from the interest!)

That was pretty much my thought process...
Its definitely been worth sacrificing a few of my nets last year to fund this
I'm going to see how the 1st few weeks go before doing anything with it anyway
I think if things stay as they are I should stroll my FC league.. being the only team with a manager
and considering he was on the market for 1m 2 weeks ago I'm bloody happy..

All bots (manager less teams) now have drained PFL, so I think you'd have to be very unlucky to lose to one - especially in the lower leagues (where they are unlikely to have any gun players left over from their previous owner!)

I appear to have just spent a silly amount of money strengthening my bowling attack.
Oops!

Yeah but he's going to be a total liability in the field Asa!
Seriously, how much are you guys spending on the youth academy each week to get decent results?

You can spend money on the YA in 2 ways:
Weekly investment which gets you ITS points (I have just started spending the maximum, so I should have 100 (the most you can have) for the start of next season.
You assign ITS points to a youth when you pull them and they boost the randomly generated stats so you have a better chance of a decent player.
You can also spend money on repairs, which raises the level of the academy - the only effect of this is to increase the number of ITS you can use on a player.
I would recommend spending 0 on the academy for your first few seasons, you can spend a lot and not get a lot back - In essence it's a gamble!

Yeah, I took no advice and improved my academy to superb, saved all my ITS for the start of this season, and bloody typical, my best pull ( probably ever) is in the middle of the season. Scarily, if ranked by BTR, he's my second best player. I only intend playing him in occasional friendlies this year as he's going to be multinetted.

Oh yeah, and picked up a decent allrounder ( just under 5k BTR at 17yo) last season, multi netted, and sold him for 1.5m also helps

Thanks guys, was struggling to see how the academy worked.
So, in theory, I could go there now and tell them to produce me a player, even though my academy is feeble and I have only 5 ITS's. Then they'd produce me a player but he would just be totally rubbish at this stage.
Ok, I'll leave alone for now as I can buy cheaper rubbish on the transfer market!
