Woooo Hoooo points in FC.  I even got my declaration total.

I was helped by the fact my oppo bowled 10 different players.

Onwards and upwards.

I played the hardest game of my season. Or so I thought.

Batted 1st and ended the day on 631-5!!! Centuries for 3 of my batsmen including Birchall, and 2 half centuries too. Going to declare now and go to bowl them out twice.

And I did... for a combined score of less than 150.. thats promotion pretty much guaranteed already!

I'm playing a bot with 60k rated batters. I got 670 first innings. Bowled them for 40 odd 1st innings. 2nd innings they are 250 for 5.
Should wrap it up early tomorrow

Storming game from Birchall today

Comes in at 54-2, batting fairly slowly. He hits 164no from 112 deliveries, with 16 and 4 ably assisted by Goodhead with 117 from 118 deliveries.

Made 331-4.

Recently changed my bowling orders and line up to play to default...worked like a dream!!  Brings my fast bowler on in the middle of the innings ( he took 3-15) as well as my most economical bowler to bowl more or less straight through in the middle ( 3-27 from 9.3) and bowled them out for 144.

My ratings are improving rapidly, with 2 respectables and 1 competent!

nice touch
Had an unwinnable game so put my kids in, they got bowled for 50 odd, then the oppo knocked the runs off.
If anyone wants a friendly sunday let me know. will put out my better players, as they didn't play today.

On another note, is it worth building my ground again. Did this end of season at cost of £150k to bring it up to 10.8k. Have filled it last 2 one day games. Hovever I will almost certainly get relegated and don't want a big stadium/costs in div 6 if I wont fill it.

challenge made. I'd give your ground another home game, fill it again and I'd definitely expand it. I virtually filled mine, up to 20226... might have to expand mine soon..

I think the one positive thing I have is that I'm only expecting to lose 2 competitive games this year, both in OD to a super BOT. So morale should stay fairly high and will prob expand in a week or 2

Lost again in the OD.  Yet to win a game in Div IV this season.  Putting my kids out for the unwinnable games. I'm going to target wins against the 2 teams above me (best team and GFI).  I might be able to scrape out of the relegation zone.
For the FC, i've managed 4 wins and 1 loss, (the loss being the replayed fixture0   I'm currently in 3rd on 89 points and the leader has 105.  Playing 2nd place next game, which will be a good test for prospects.

Birchall popped to quality batting today. Going to train him on a single batting net till the end of next season, so he'll be about wonderful I think.. don't think I'll be able to afford any more to his wages than that. Also have him on a stamina net so at the end of next season he'll be superb.

Nice one. Harding has popped to prof bowling now, although I rarely use him as a bowler. Can't decide whether to sell him once he gets to prof batting too or not. His nets would be useful for my 17 yr olds as would the money.

8 more wickets for Hall... 43 for the season now, so well on target for 100 FC wickets in the season!

Will wrap up this weeks match this morning

Bowled them out for 31. Scored 365-2, they are now 86-8. FC league VI is a bit boring...

Survived to day 3 for the first time this season - admittedly against a bot.

Looks like they will still manage to beat me tomorrow though, unless miracles occur.
