I'd give birchall 1 x bat, 1 x fielding.  Fielding will help his wk and the extra concentration won't be a worry wage wise.

Pickering would be 1x bat, 1 x bowl, 1 x field, 1 x stam - although you can give him the last 2 later on, or rotate etc.

Wilks - I think I would sell and see if you can buy a straight bat - someone might pay more for the prof bowling and it's no use to you long term.

Had 4 pops today for my 17 year olds, they should make useful players next season. Hace also managed this week to get to the point of being in profit each week just from sponsorship and interest.

Have got Pickering on the 4 suggested.. fielding is a good idea on Birchall, hadn't thought of it.

Tbh the only reason I've kept Wilks is that he's a RF. And useful for this season. Will sell him after my OD game this week.

Crunch time in tomorrow's match - win and i seal promotion to Div III FC, lose and I stay in Div IV, draw and it could go either way depending on batting/bowling points.

He seems to have a slightly stronger team than me now, so I've shoved a bunch of players on defensive to try and get a high batting tally (and play for the draw!!). If I lose, i'll be very pissed off, since I originally beat him in the very first game this season, but due to the match-engine restarting, he changed tactics and scabbed a draw...

If I gain promotion I'll get battered in III, so it won't be dreadful staying in IV!

4.    Best Behaviour CCC    14    6    4    4    0    36    35    171
5.    Limwaysports    14    6    5    3    0    31    34    161
6.    Ant Cricket Club    14    5    8    1    0    34    41    149
7.    Yateley Town CC    14    1    12    1    0    28    16    62
