It is, the filipinos are very community spirited, whenever there is anything going on in the town or 1 of the villages it seems EVERYBODY turns out.
You have to remember, very few people here have televisions, so the main source of entertainment is anything happening live.

My Dad used to work with a lot of Filipinos in Libya, he always said they were some of the friendliest most cheerful people he had ever met.
