Had suspended my disbelief right up to that point.

I remember watching independence day at the cinema with a mate and his family. As we walked out everyone was saying "wow wasn't that great"

I thought it was the epitomy of cheesy hollywood cliched trash!

Although the bits where the whitehouse got demolished were good i must admit.

Just watched "the prestige" directed by christopher nolan (memento, batman begins.) Long but gripping story about rival magicians with the excellent christian bale in it. It was class!
