I have been a sucker for the h/u hyper's. I actually think there is some strategy to them, and if you are really disciplined (not my forte), then you can make money. I see a lot of players at the 100/200 level really aggro/spewey, that will call off ultra wide, and in general make some truly awful. If you can keep your temperament throughout the high variance (again, not my forte), then I think u can make money at these games.

Do you remember the guy who won the Sunday million ? He wilted off his entire bankroll playing 500-5000 h/u sngs.

A few days later he was playing fpp sat for the following Sunday million.

Could so easily be me that!

This is fascinating to read because it just shows how much poker has changed in only a six years.  When I first met you Keith you were still playing SNG HU for a living.  When did you stop and why?

Games got unbeatable, stopped around a year after this thread.

When they lowered the rake better players moved into the games

My strength as a poker player has always been adapting to new games/conditions quickly.

I had great runs when Stars first introduced hu sngs, then when they first introduced turbo hus and finally when hyper turbo hu came in.

Unfortunately better players than me soon catch up and overtake me!
