5 left

smallish rebuy comp

payouts £930,475,300,210,100

136,000 chips in play

me 23,000
seat 2 20,000
seat 3 11,000 poor player, loose, limps in a lot even 5 handed, unconventional I suppose
seat 4 64,000 aggressive but never that out of line when in a pot
seat 5 18,000

blinds only 400-800, 20 mins left of level

I am BB

Seat 2 pass

Seat 3 raise to 3,300 leaving 8,000 or so

Seat 4 flat calls

Seat 5 pass in SB

I call 2,500 into pot of 7,800 getting 3-1 for odds/value

flop

I check intending to check-raise the short-stack allin or hoping he pushes, he is looking down at chips fairly obviously.

He bets 3,000 of his remaining 8,000

Big Stack quickly announces raise to 8,000

back to me, I am thinking that the short stack is obviously committed but there could be a nice sidepot to be won if Shorty has AK for example

question is who has the King?

If the big stack doesn't what is he raising with?

I consider big stack is a possibility for KQ,KJ,88 but I am ahead of other pocket pairs, flush draw, Kx etc

I believe i have no choice but to push here.

Would you concur?

i must say though sometimes people can be guilty of over analysing hands, you can't hope for a better flop to ship 'em in.

Tighty,

There is surely no other way to play this hand on the flop?
