No one else has seen the transcripts, so it's unfair to say the penalty was harsh without knowing all the facts.  I think it's fair to say that APAT would not have taken such a strong line unless they had very good reason, in other words, the abuse wasn't just petty chatter.

I congratulate APAT for responding quickly and taking such steps to stamp out unacceptable behaviour.

Apparently there was some sort of technical problem & it was temporarily removed. It will be replaced, & we intend that it will remain on the site - www.apat.com - perrmanently.

Our apologies.

No problem - was being facetious really.  Seems a waste of such a good quality piece of prose though...

Is it just me, or do others here find that the higher stakes that you play, the less abuse that goes on?

How will this be a deterrent? Are APAT going to announce it in a newsletter?

Yes.

You mean we will receive a newsletter by email this/next week?

Just sit down with a bunch of multi-tablers.
They hardly have time to play never mind abuse you.

Talent is being able to play AND abuse people on 12 tables at the same time.
