Clear the ones u dont want off itunes, then update ur ipod.
OR
If u think ul want them again at a later date, just uncheck them, then update ipod.

Click on the folder where all your tunes are stored (ie Your ipod playlist) then select all (in edit i think) then right click on any highlighted track then click delete, then update ipod

Somewhere there is a "revert to factory settings" option. I know because for a while that was the only option it gave me when I plugged it in. I've fixed that now. But it's there somewhere! Extreme yet satisfying.

Was just miffed coz I right clicked on every song and deleted, then they were all still there. It worked the second time. Me n i-pods don't get on

get a program called podplus it allows you to move and merge stuff straight from your pod and works with i tunes
