I also have to say push- the reasons?? well there are no reasons.... who needs reasons when you've got (JackJack) -ah I love trainspotting- anyway only jokin
I've kinda thought this through and I would say it really depends on the player your up against and what kind of result your looking for(to scrape into the money or to just go for it and win)- You've said that foldings not an option which is fair enuf but I dont think it should be discounted-its a standard 3x BB raise so could quite easily be AA or KK or maybe even QQ-easier said when ur not in that situation tho-
I'm guessing you pushed- he called with AK and hit on the turn/river?

?
My reason for pushing tho is that I would be playing to get back into the game with a chance of winning the whole tourny-not to mention practically guaranteeing finishing ITM-theyre are only 3 hands u are an absolute dog against(and even then you'll win 1 in 5) I wouldnt push all in tho- I would try to look as if I want the call and raise to about 9.5k- lettin him know that no matter what comes on the flop its all goin in anyway. I think calling with this hand and not a massive amount of chips is just far too passive-you are also out of position so if an ace or king does come and he has a holding such as 99 or 1010 you are giving him the opportunity to steal the pot- and also if he does have a holding such as 99 or 1010 you are giving him a free card to hit his set
