Oops, I made a misread earlier, it wasn't Simon Zach that knocked out Gavriel, it was in fact Henning, I just saw the cards in front of Simon and assumed it was him. Sorry all.

More on the Simon Zach/Praz Bansi hand, the preflop action didn't just go all-in/call apparently, Simon made it 40k from the button and Praz made it 100k from the big blind and Simon pushed his remaing chips with the
knowing full well he was getting called for the last 20k or so. Makes it seem a lot sicker from Praz' point of view.

Here's a mid-break David Lloyd (reluctantly photoed).
"I think Simon made a bit of a boo boo on that Pras hand. He raised pre-flop with Q-Js, which is fair enough, but once Pras has made the re-raise with the sevens, he's gotta let it go knowing that Pras is committed if he were to move over the top. But, I think he looked at the prize structure, thought 'It's only a grand between the places' and decided to gamble. I'm not sure that's the best way to look at it though when you've been playing this long."

The blinds are now 8/16k.
When asked about the potential chip count at 5.30pm, David Lloyd didn't seem to worries, adding, "It'll be chopped up with four players left, I doubt we'll make it to 5.30."
I'm not surprised with tbh considering the top heavy structure.

P Pihlajamaa
is OUT and becomes the
8th
place finisher winning
£3,720
Pretty shortstacked, Pihlajamaa made his move with Threes, but ran into the Pocket Aces of fellow Scandie Bolstad.
Q-9-6-K-5 Board was no help.

I love poker, sometimes it's so surprising, after we grinded for what seemed like 5 or 6 hours with only 1 person going out, it's all sprung into life.
Henning Bolstad
is our
4th
place finisher winning
£9,300
And it was one of those 'one up the bum' jobbies.
He pushed from the small blind with
and Praz asked how much but then said, "Call."
Praz showed
. You know what's coming don't you...
Flop:
Ouch!

Mohammed Shaffiq
is OUT and becomes the
3rd
place finisher winning
£11,625
Shaf made it 70k from the button, Praz moved all-in and Shaf called.
Q-Jo vs 7-7
Board = 6-9-7-A-Q
Heads up now between Zach and Pransi.
