After hours upon hours of action free poker, we've witnessed 6 exits in 30 minutes.

Would you Adam and Eve it?...

As Jimmy Greaves once said, "It's a funny ol' game."

Floppy is in the midst of the battlefield at the moment, but I'd guess they're pretty equal in chips now.

Praz and Simon have been discussing a deal for the last several minutes. Praz has the chip lead, approximately 800k to Simon's 600k and wants more money than what was initially offered. Funnily enough though, neither are too keen to gamble for that 20k difference.

Well, incredibly, it appears as though this questioned structure is going to be played out, as neither Simon nor Praz can agree to a deal, the latter wanting a few more thousand than initially offered and the former not too willing to give it. A bit of a stand off therefore means... GAME ON!

"Isn't it exciting!" says Zach.

According to Karl Marenholtz, one of the reasons Praz is not too keen on a deal is because apparently if he wins here, he'll go top of the rankings. Seems a fair enough reason to you guys?

Is that the new Rankings?  Just started (anyone recall when?) - it makes a difference if it's beginning/middle/end of points battle- the more events left to play presumably the less important it is to have the temporary top spot now (especially for a player like Praz)...

Bizarre hand early doors in this heads-up confrontation.

Both players see a cheap flop of two hearts.

Praz bets 16k and Simon moves all-in for around 550k.

A long dwell from Praz, who tries to get some info out of Simon with the verbal.

"Will you show if I pass?" he asks.

"No," answers Zach.

Zach then goes on to say things like...

"Oh just pass, I know you're going to pass."

"I just want to get to the bar."

and so on.

He even asks a valet for a glass of still water from the bar.

Anyhow, Praz eventually passes, showing a Ten in the process. Zach also shows a Ten, but it's backed up by a 6.

According to Karl, who was watching from the rail, Praz had T-2 for a smaller two pair.

Easy pass?

1st is roughly £32k while 2nd is about £13k

A few hands now,

First on a two spades board Praz bets 16k and is check/raised by Simon to 75k, both check the river where Simon's is good.

Praz raises and takes the blinds.

Simon folds the small blind.

Praz folds the small blind.

Simon raises and takes the blinds.

Praz makes up the blinds and we see a flop. Simon check/calls Praz' 20k bet. They both check the turn. Simon checks the river and Praz bets 50k. Simon moves all-in and Praz folds.

Finally Simon makes up and Praz checks, they check down a board until the river where Praz bets 50k and Simon quickly calls, Praz has , Simon has . Chop that one.

Here's the guys in action, despite no deal, it's all very pleasant and friendly.

Hats off to the guys for playing this out.

At least noone can moan about this final being boring, playing for 20k heads up must be tense stuff.

Still level pegging. Blinds now 10/20k (and capped).

Lots of action, but very back and forth, not too many hands reaching the river.

Last 3 hands:

(1) Praz raises 60k, Simon calls. 8h-7d-6d Flop. Check, check. 9s Turn. Simon bets 90k and Praz folds. Simon shows T-9.

(2) 4-8-5 rainbow Flop. Praz checks, Simons bets 30k, Praz calls. 4d Turn. Simon bets 80k, Praz folds.

(3) Jc 9c 5d Flop. Praz bets 30k, called. 4h Turn. Praz bets 70k. Folds.

Pretty laid back to be honest.

Just be thankful Trev and George didn't make it. Forget the 7hr HORSE, heads up records would have been shattered.
