Thsi is THE funniest thread of the year!!!

So Ironic that someone who tears strips of people for posting about bad beats!!

Nothing wrong with telling BB stories, its when you post them pretending to be something else!

And no i don't think i am overplaying AK.

Bizarrely, I'm quite happy to listen to Flushy's bad beat stories.

It's good to know that he's suffering and I thank him for sharing them with me.

Days like that truly make you wonder.

Heads up last night on a S&G I have 88. By the turn there are three sevens and a five on the board. I click the all in button and he calls with J4. Only a jack (or highly unlikely 7) can beat me (or so I thought). Stars being Stars down comes the 7 on the river and we each have quads. Even worse I was ignorant of the fact that kickers count on quads so I lose the pot and the game in the next few hands. I'll not make that mistake again Wink.

I feel your pain, though somehow don't think others will necessarily be so sympathetic Wink

ak totally player read dependant imo.

bad beats   CAN just be considered good beats in the main, its the accumulation  on sundays especially ,that  bites   soooo much.

keep plugging away, and u will still be in the top percentile when the year ends.

I saw someone call 500$ into a 100$ pot with QQ on a TTTT3 board once because he didn't understand how quads worked. This was a GOOD beat Wink

As for flushie, some chumba wumba lyrics may be appropriate.

perhaps.....

"I get knocked down but i get up again, you're never gonna keep me down"

or

"He drinks a vodka drink, he drinks a lager drink........PIssin the night away, pissing the night away"

or

"You'll be singing', when you're winnin'"

Seems like chumba wumba have all the bases covered.

Well try NOT to be pushing 12k into a 3k pot with 66 on a 5 J J board might be a start

whats 1600*3 Paul?

It would be impressive if i had 12k to push with but i started the hand with about 10.5 i believe.

Flushy I feel for you mate. I had a similar night on Sunday and absolutely got canned in all the big events. Needless to say on Monday morning I wasnt happy. You just have to pick yourself up dust off and start again.

Long run you will be ahead.

At least Everton won on the weekend and the Aussies crashed out of the cricket... priceless.
