Still not as bad as the A-T-A-T board, with players holding A5 and A7 and the guy talking about the flush draw coming on the river.
Haha!  I forgot about that one.  That was the very first hand IIRC.

And the 'expert' was a pro, right?

No, wrong actually!
My bad.  Apologies.

I think it's fair game to "knock" those who appear on TV, it goes with the territory. But if a guy "reads" the odd hand wrong, well, to err is human, & I think most of us have made worse mistakes in our time.
Point taken, but I think Sherriff Fatman summed it up perfectly.

This has not put me off the show,  I have signed up and will play in one of these soon.  I realise there will be mistakes made and lessons learnt, but I'm glad the feedback is being noted.

Thanks MAF.

Feedback noted? Well one of tonight's Guests finished 18th in the WSOP Main Event at his first attempt, (so HE/SHE can play a bit) & is a blonde.

Can anyone name him/her?

Come on, somebody must have a clue.....

Cupcake?

I thought the idea of the TV programme was to get outgoing, gregarious characters who could talk a bit in order to entertain the viewer, not shy, retiring types who go into their shell at every opportunity.

Well John did finish 18th, but shy & retiring

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Trust Andrew to have an angle. Yup, John is shy & retiring. When he's asleep.

We spoke today, he's as nervous as a kitten. I told him last week I'd try & be at the studio to look after him, but it was not do-able in the end.

He'll be OK I think.

I am currently preparing the Guest List for March, which I then pass to Sky for their consideration & final selection, so if you think you are up to it, & live reasonably local to London, e-mail me at "Tony.Kendall@bskyb.com".

EDIT - e-Mail addy corrected!
