I went on a trip to amsterdam last summer and went on a jazz boat and since then have been hooked on it- my missus hates it- but was just wondering if anyone knows of somewhere i can get some for 'free'? Or if there are jazz fans out there who can reccommend some singers or bands. Have some now which i listen to when playing poker (think its ideal poker music) but would love to expand on it!

cheers taximan, we actually have a massive one near me called the Brecon Jazz Festival, some may have heard of it. Its briliant but might be a nice summer trip down to cornwall for your suggested one. Only trouble is persuading my missus to come!

I usually google first, i downloaded a lot of 60s soul music the other day by artists i hadnt heard of before. Google classic jazz albums, artists, groups ect, get a pen and paper and away you go.
