Last night they managed to get a few hands in of the final table as it didn't last too long. I guess it's hard for them to be too critical but it did seem last night the standard of play was shocking.

Sky Poker are trying to find a balance between running a solid, professional online/interactive game and presenting an entertaining TV show.
One of the reasons they don't get to the end of the tournament and see the winner is that play usually tightens up on Final Table, and, after three hours of live commentary on their feet, the presenters are cream-crackered. Tikay has to be given oxygen and a rub down between hand reviews. If the game hasn't finished by 0020 the producers have to take a toiugh decision whether to plough on or call it a day.
The channel hopes to hit the right balance between speed of blinds and getting all the heads up action on screen as soon as they can.
Please keep your comments coming to Blonde as the 'suits' are definitely listening!

I just love those rub-downs, but Helen refused, dammit.

Are there any plans to make the software downloadable rather than having to play through a browser.
Also what about rebuys/bigger guarantee's?

Why not start the tournament earlier then? Surely there's no reason for the tournament to start exactly the same time as the TV show? It also gives you more hands to choose from before you even start.

Sorry Tikay, is that you paying to rub Helen down or paying to be rubbed down by Helen? There's an important difference.
I hear Jonny Gould is willing to let you rub him down for twelve pounds and fifteen pence, including VAT.

I dont think you should bring the start time forward as it would then clash with all the other big gtd comps a lot of us play in. At 8pm at least 4 of the main gtd comps start and by 9 I'm normally out of all 4 so can play the sky thing
Also whens hells bells on next please?

Well, the Roster is always subject to change, but at present, I believe Helen's next show is scheduled to be on Wednesday. But worry not, you've got me me Friday......
Look out on Thursday (tomorrow/today) for another blonde Guest, too!
