The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Here Here, it was an absolute riot, I could hardly play coz the tears were rolling down my cheeks. At least I did the honourable thing and donated my money back to charity after Kev's little faux pas....

Kev was out of the next game before I even got to play a hand (NTL went down.............for about 3 seconds)

anyway  a good finish to a hilarious evening. Tikay, Helen and Kev made excellent viewing.

A big well done to Kev and Tikay.
1st time I've watched this, but was glued to it for 3 hours.

Tikay and Helen could be the next Ant and Dec..............or should that be Compo and Nora!!

Out in 6th - KK busted by TT - Just missed out on the final.............

Gutted for you.  Where was that miracle river for the str8 flush when you needed it?

Well played though to get to 6th - not easy.

thumbs up

The Nun, (Maureen)

Sorry you were unable to play the comp last night. The Sky Suits read these threads every night, & please be assured, if the problem was "their end", they will refund you your entry fee. I think you should speak to the Help Desk too, they may be able to assist.

Once again, a great shame you could not join us, but hopefully it will get sorted soon.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I've been doing TV for 2 years now (how? one asks oneself....) & I've never once been nervous before. But tonight, maybe because it was the great & wonderful Helen Chamberlain, I was bricking it. But she "settled me" a treat, & eventually it seemed to go OK. Sorry about the slugs, barnacles & buses, but you know how it is with me, what you see is what you get, I can only be myself.

Gotta say, Helen is a goddess. After the show, she, Kev & myself sat down & chilled for an hour or more, in fact, I think she fancies me.

Anyway, Sky have rostered me a bunch of dates in March, so it looks like I've got away with it for another month. Who says I can't get a bluff through, eh?
