I have seen funnier posts, but never such a hilarious thread. I could not say this on The thread, (more than 5 words). Tears of laughter, truly, some of that stuff was just so good. "Tits tits tits tits tits".........

It has naff all to do with poker, but loads of folks joined in. When we get these occasional wise-guys joining up & trying to ruin this place, (none of whom you will note contributed) it's not hard to see why we get a little protective, is it?

What a wonderful place you have created here, & what a great bunch you are. Awesome.

Totally agreed. I missed this thread's creation but am midway through reading it and am in stitches! Genius.

Manic is the only way to describe it, as soon as you  thought of five words you were already 2 or 3 posts behind. Good "esprite de corps"

You sum it up a treat Robert. When a blondeite is running well in a comp, ALL of us want them to do well, & we are all there railbirding.

And given half a chance, we bust each otthers ba**s something shocking.

For example.....

It's "esprit de corps" not "esprite de corps". Least it was when I was not at school.

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.

I was thrilled that the thread took off so well. I even tried to stop it, fearing it was outstaying it's welcome but no, off it went again

My favourites were

"TITS TITS TITS TITS TITS"

and the sublime, in response to............. Ariston shouted....

"I WANT A FREE POKER BOOK"

Absolute genius, given it was posted twenty seconds after the last post!!

I took part at the beginning but then made the mistake of having a life out side of the board and going out. I now have the daunting task of catching up.
