I don't think he scored a hattrick with Coventry.

This link says that his first senior hattrick was with Leeds.

Fair enough. I've just found a fan site that says he did though! lol

I guess he'd know better!

Well, I'm not 100%. The question was on that sky sports recap show with Alan Smith, Dion Dublin, Tim Sherwood, etc. Oh, and the fans.

I'm pretty sure you are correct. Robbie would know better than this fan I'm sure.

Snoops, how did you work out the Notts County answer?

Stuck in my mind cos they are the crappest team I can recall playing in division 1. (premiership)

I have a bizzarely good memory of football around that time.

Oi!!!

Not that good amemory, we weren't the worst! Almost but not quite.

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.

So here's what I reckon:

Collymore (Liverpool, Forest, Villa)
Charles (Benfica, Forest, Villa)
Ince (Inter, Man U, Liverpool)
(Platt) (Forest, Villa, Juventus)

Saunders (Villa, liverpool, forest)
Mark Hughes (Bayern, Barc, Man U)

Tony Cascarino (Marseille, Celtic, Villa)

Alan McAnally (Bayern, Celtic, Villa)

I think Saunders is the only to play for 4 cos he was with Benfica too. Boy, he was a busy lad.

All correct (including Platt & Charles  Embarrassed) - BUT there's one more english player you still haven't got.

Got the name right? It's only THE most famous named express train in the world!

I thought it had ceased to operate in 2002. It used to depart Paddington at 6.05pm, always pulled by an immaculately clean King or Castle Class. Both my Dad & my Grandad were drivers AND Fireman on it at different times, & on occasions, my Dad was fireman to my Grandad.

The Paddington Crew, based at Old Oak Common (Depot Code 81a) would only take it as far as Plymouth, where a West Country crew would take over. The Old Oak Crew then stayed in Plymouth lodgings with a Mrs Stackles, this was known as "double homes".

Last time I used this service, my coach develooped a cracked wheel & had to be "retired" at Exeter St James. Geezer used to walk along the track with a hammer & tap each wheeel, if it gave an off key "ring" they knew the wheel was cracked.

Lets hope a Poker Tourney occurs in Penzanze soon, that'll be some trip, eh?

I thought Michael Thomas, but can only link him to Benfica and Liverpool.

I'll concede on this one...

Who is the only English Football League team that have the option to wear their home colours in every game they play, and why?
