i also hate people that drive upto roundabouts when the roads are empty and rather than look as they approach, they wait till the last minute, stop then look to the right and see that the road is dead, i cant count the number of times ive nearly gone into the back of somebody on a clear road...

ahhhh i feel so much better now.

my girlfriend does this, drives me fuggin nuts.

Endemol. Sounds like A Dutch suppository, the TV it produces has the same effect.

Branding, re-branding, brand values, brand management, brand awareness, sweating the brand - and anyone who holds down a full-time job polishing the "brand Richard".

on a similar theme, 'lets touch base', 'brain storming' (sorry, 'thought showers'). Basically any ridiculous phrases generally used in the office by wankers.

"we need to get more joined up"

and this is from a guy that is pushing well over a 6 figure salary and has more education than a very well educated person...

ah..my old manager had this "We have to manage our own destiny, and on Monday I want everyone to come back reinvigorated and ready to manage theirs proactively". (This right after a round of lay-offs)

I have to say whilst on this vein, When I worked for Monster.com we had a great work ethic, a fantastic individual and team motivation and a lot of fun was had at work.

Unsurprisingly we were at our most successful when we had an American team running the European hub of monster.

Once Europe had grown to a substantial size, the Head office in the USA decided it was time to put the Europeans in charge of their own destiny, Unsurprisingly again, within one month of a new European management team taking control, we lost the work ethic, the fun, the individuality and the motivation all because the European team decided to "fix" a working, well oiled machine.

pet hate = trying to fix something that works exceptionally well. Why oh Why do people feel the need to do this?

middle lane drivers, refusing to use inside lane on motorway.

people who show no awareness/consideration to cyclists (esp not giving enough room when overtaking)

cyclists/motor cyclists who weave in and out of traffic scaring the s**t out of drivers as they swerve in front of you.
trash talking at the poker table

people not involved in a pot offering advice/opions during the action ("you cant possibly fold to that bet, you know you are priced in, and he is pushing with any 2 cards in that position") ++++++++

people who park taking up 2 spaces- especially outside my house.

slugs

australian sports suporters (closey followed by english rugby supporters)

short measures in pubs

modern jazz

arsene wenger  (asinine whinger)

oh dear- looks like i need some serious therapy- am actually quite a happy chappy normally... i thought

tell me if i am being over sensitive but where i work there is a door which has handles on both sides so its not easy to tell wether it is "push" or "pull", well i now know after the first time i tried to push and nearlly put my head through the glass

If you are entering the building it would be pull, exit would be push.

Fool!

I'm your pet hate  Cheesy

If there's double doors, and one is locked, there are four options available.
Invariably, I need four attempts to get through, and it doesn't matter how many times I've been through the doors before.

My excuse, is that the mind is working on a higher plateau.
