ok, blinds are 100/200 but go up to 150/300 in 2mins. i only have 2050 chips and on the button. get dealt

mid position raises to 1000, he has about 8000 total.
obviously he aint gonna fold for 1000 more, and im most likely gonna be a coinflip at best.

who goes all in and takes the coinflip and who passes and looks for a better spot to double up?? just askin cos me and my mate disagree on wot i did

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

I'm with Flushy..before deciding that this is a fold I'd like some more info on the table. You need the double up so I'm reluctant to fold unless I can find a good reason to.

edit* if you say it's a coinflip (so say you're up against AK/AQ JK etc) I'll take that any time in your situation with only 10 BB's and needing to make a move. (unless you are on the bubble and need the cash)

it was actually a GUKPT satelitte. there were 40 left and top 3 got a seat to cardiff while 4th paid $1950. didnt really have much info on the player as i had only recently been moved to the table. cant quite remember his exact stack but do know he was one of the leaders at the table.

you got to shove here the chances of you getting a better spot is unlikely, unless u want to be on the other end of the coin flip ?

yeah i thought this was in insta push regarding the situation. it turns out he had  but i dont think that matters (obviously it did at the time), but was wondering who gambles if indeed it was a coinflip.

my mate doesnt think i should have called and risk being a 50/50 at best but regarding my chipstack and a need to double up i was prepared to go wit it with this hand
