It's a step in the right direction IMO, casino's these days appear to have no dresscode.

They are not training shoes, ask them to tell you what sport or exercise they are designed for?

You could of taken your shoes and socks off i bet it doesn't say anything in the rules about barefoot?

If your a regular then they should let it go this once, perhaps for a donation to charity as a fine.

I bet if a famous face turned up in trainers theyd be in.

Yes, but suits make for a better class of thuggery.

They're nothing like trainers! No padding, No support...rigid counter. Poor decision from a person that knows nowt about either type of footwear.

I used to work in the footwear department of a sports shop and I would say that the over-riding factor will be the rubber sole. If it's upturned at the front rather than rounded then it is designed for somekind of sport. Can't quite see from the picture though.

I'd place more weight on what the uppers are like. Today we see all sorts of moulded soles attached to shoes but it doesn't make them trainers IMO.

That's Thewy! He's not gonna be happy.

Seriously, I was in Monte Carlo for the "Miillions" && Grg Rymer - a truly great Ambassador for Poker - gave the opening speech. Had a lovely dark suit, shirt & tie - & open-toed sandals! Only an American could dress so bad & think they looked cool....
